to mention that I saw a dead alligator, about 4 feet long, on the side of the highway about a week and a half ago, when driving northbound up I-75 from Ft. Myers to St. Petersburg.
Weird. As. Hell.
Deer? Sure. Raccoon? Why not. Opossum? Fine.

I got 2 callbacks today!!!
One was a quick phone interview to see if I was face-to-face interview material. I think I nailed it, so that’s awesome. That was doing some data entry/quality control type things at an AM radio station; very similar to what I was doing at the not for profit when I first started. It’s part time, but the pay is pretty good, so it’s definitely an option.
And the big news -drumroll-
I have an interview on Wednesday morning! It’s with a wine distributor, sales rep kind of thing. It could be promising!

I also forgot to mention how clear the water is. You can be up to your neck in the water and still see your toes. It’s awesome.

I sent out 9 resumes yesterday.
I got one bite back from a dance studio about 45 minutes north of here in Palm Harbor. They do all the training and everything, and you don’t need any real experience, so I’m going to go up there on Monday. They have a studio here in St Pete (literally 10 minutes from here, right near Pasadena) that hopefully I can transfer to.
I’m going to hit Starbucks downtown on Monday, too. They’ve got the application available online, so I’m going to print out and fill out at home and just take them in…

Last night, when driving through the gate into our apartment complex, we were passed by a metallic sky blue Lexus jacked up on 24″ wheels with spinning rims.

So they just did a poll on the local ABC news about a bill in the Florida senate about whether teachers should be able to teach views besides evolution in schools, and 70% of viewers who took the poll said yes, teachers should be able to teach views besides evolution in schools.
Wow.
Ooh, it’s dropped since it was shown on-air.
